Celebs Love Kelly Locke!

As clearly evidenced here, several stars are carrying Kelly Locke clutches on and off the red carpet. The “Mimi” clutch is a new silhouette for Kelly Locke’s Fall 2011 collection and has quickly become a celebrity favorite among the likes of Halle Berry, Emma Roberts, Sarah Hyland and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

The “Mimi” is available in various skins from mirrored calfskin ($450, as worn by Emma Roberts to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party) to anaconda (as worn by Halle Berry to the 2011 Academy Awards) to matte and glazed fishskin ($575, as worn by Erika Christensen and Jennifer Love Hewitt.)

Locke specializes in working with precious skins such as anaconda, lizard, crocodile and baby haircalf.

Best Dressed at the Met Gala

The Met Gala is easily one of the most glamorous nights of the entire year, where celebrities and designers go all out and take major risks with fashion. The red carpet was filled with nude tones, elaborate trains, tulle garnishes and smatterings of sequins and sparkle; but my fashion favorites from tonight were actually the cool, hip, modern dresses in bright colors or pretty patterns. Tasteful silhouettes that are feminine yet still streamlined always score big in my book.

Fab Out your iPhone!

I went to a few Grammys gifting lounges over the weekend, and was blown away by super cool brand, Case-Mate, and their customized iPhone cases. I don't even have an iPhone, but this product has my pining for one like never before. Check out www.imakemycase.com and play around with the countless of fabulous designs that are entirely and completely customizable to whatever your heart fancies! You can even upload your own photos or artwork, utilize a paintbrush or inkblot feature and (seriously) so much more!

Needless to say, several savvy celebs scooped them up:

Sneak Peek: Swag & Style!

Before the stars took to the red carpet last night for the Golden Globes, several stars and industry VIPs (ah-hem, myself included!) merrily gallivanted about town at the various posh gifting suites and beauty lounges held in their honor. I ran into many of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (my guilty pleasure! it's so good) and a few others like Milla Jovovich, Abigail Spencer, Jane Lynch, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Izabella Miko and more.

Over the busy weekend, I attended the Access Hollywood "Stuff you Must..." Lounge, the InStyle Beauty Lounge at the Four Seasons Hotel and the Nivea for Men Hospitality Suite at Pascal Mouawad's mansion.

While I was busy documenting the mass amounts of swag (Pretty Ballerinas, New Balance, Netflix, Pandora Jewels, Wonka chocolates, Little Giraffe, Slim Fast, Vintage Revolution denim, Lipsy and plenty more) being distributed to stars galore; I also made time for a little pampering too!
I had my hair styled by the brilliant Mika Fowler of Gavert Atelier salon with Joico products, my brows were shaped by Damone Roberts of Beverly Hills and makeup pro Heather Currie (she does Ellen's makeup for the TV show daily) beautified me with an arsenal of brand new Maybelline New York products.

Life's tough, right? All in a day's work, lovelies! ;)

ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards

I covered the ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards for the third year in the row this week, and it's always one of the most elegant events of the year. The star power is unbeatable (Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Hilary Swank, Jodie Foster, Diane Keaton, Kerry Washington, Diane Kruger, Elle Fanning, Goldie Hawn and so on and so on!) and the inspirational speeches and honored movie moments tend to remind us all why this crazy town is unlike any other place in the world.

I didn't get a chance to snap too many candid pics to share, but here are a few. Personal highlights for me were chatting with Hilary and Kate.

And don't forget to read my official write-up here.

ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards

I'm playing catch up on my posts, but I've been working a lot lately (yay!), and haven't had a lot of downtime! One of the most elegant events in town is always the ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, and I had the pleasure of covering red carpet and dining inside (next to Cat Deeley and across from Becki Newton, natch!) for the celebratory formal dinner. Funny guy Alec Baldwin hosted, and a bevy of beauties like Renee Zellweger, Katie Holmes, Zoe Saldana, Emily Blunt and many, many more came out for a glamorous girls night out!

David Beckham...Swooon!

Sorry for the delay in updates, lovelies! I've been traveling and moving and party-hopping galore, but wanted to post a pic from tonight's event with David Beckham (at the launch party for his new collaboration with Adidas...genius!)

He is always so gracious and charming and humble, a genuinely impressive celebrity...who just so happens to be mega, mega hot. Don't you agree?

Cartier's 100th Anniversary!

I had the privilege of attending Cartier's 100th Anniversary party in Beverly Hills the other night and had a truly lovely time!

As if the glittering jewels and historic Cartier pieces (an incredible collection in L.A. until June 14th) on display weren't tantalizing enough, Usher showed up and totally mingled with me (elbowing me, whispering in my ear) during the event! Did you know he wears a stack of Cartier bracelets every single day? Yup, it's true.

Beauty Day!

I kicked off my weekend with a fabulous visit to the Byron and Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills for a celebrity/VIP pampering day. The gorgeous space (all-white interiors, floral arrangements by Teleflora, outdoor courtyard space) sets itself apart from other posh salons in the area because its tucked away on Civic Center Drive, which is a much quieter and discreet location.

I enjoyed a luxurious (gorgeous! voluminous! sexified!) blow-out by Bernard, and later made the rounds to pick up some goodies from Carrera Sunglasses, Express (romper & maxi dresses) and Cover Girl (Lash Blast mascara and lip stains)! During my treatment, I was sandwiched between Abigail Breslin and Rosario Dawson at the salon, and Rachel Zoe, Amanda Peet, Ali Larter, Michelle Tractenberg, Gabrielle Union and more were also making the rounds.
