Celeb Style: Halle Berry

Halle Berry is loving exotic skins this summer. The stunning actress rocked Kelly Locke's “CAROLYN” style hobo bag in natural spotted anaconda with signature hand-crafted nickel serpent ring detail ($1,100 available at Avedon Beverly Hills.)

Celebs Love Kelly Locke!

As clearly evidenced here, several stars are carrying Kelly Locke clutches on and off the red carpet. The “Mimi” clutch is a new silhouette for Kelly Locke’s Fall 2011 collection and has quickly become a celebrity favorite among the likes of Halle Berry, Emma Roberts, Sarah Hyland and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

The “Mimi” is available in various skins from mirrored calfskin ($450, as worn by Emma Roberts to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party) to anaconda (as worn by Halle Berry to the 2011 Academy Awards) to matte and glazed fishskin ($575, as worn by Erika Christensen and Jennifer Love Hewitt.)

Locke specializes in working with precious skins such as anaconda, lizard, crocodile and baby haircalf.

And Since You're Asking...

My picks for Best Dressed last night:

Mila Kunis in Elie Saab: Ethereal, sexy and graceful. I absolutely loved this soft color on her and the lace exuded pure romance.

Halle Berry in Marchesa: You can't go wrong in Marchesa! This was a personal best for Halle, in my opinion. The gorgeous tulle, amazing beadwork and blushy nude color couldn't have complemented this strikingly beautiful woman more.

Jennifer Lawrence in Calvin Klein: How to to turn heads as a newbie in Hollywood? Slip on a flawless, simple red dress that shows off your killer body and mega-star confidence, and let everything else speak for itself. Well done, Miss Lawrence!

Here's how the stars got ready.

Celebrity Style: Halle Berry and Nahla

I'm obsessed with edgy chic UK-based line All Saints, and looks like I'm not the only one! Halle Berry and adorable daughter Nahla donned the brand while strolling through the airport recently. Precious, right?

Halle Hearts Reem Acra!

Less than a week after wearing Reem Acra to host the NAACP Image Awards, Halle Berry donned another stunning golden silk jacquard organza strapless dress with fishtail back from the designer's Spring 2009 Collection.

Gorgeous!

ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards

So, I'm also reporting for ELLE Magazine and ELLE.com now (!), and my first fabulous gig was at last night's star-studded Women in Hollywood Awards held at the Four Seasons Hotel (a mere two blocks away from my apartment!)

The red carpet was packed to the gills, and just to paint a picture of what it's really like to be press at these things, I was mercifully wedged diagonally between two camera crews and teetered in heels for about two hours, shifting my weight from right to left every two seconds and ducking either way so as not to get in anyone's shot, all the while, wrangling celebs, clutching both a microphone and a tape recorder and conducting interviews with stars as effortlessly as possible. In short, it was madness--but well worth it.

So who was there? Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Anne Hathaway, Isla Fisher, Sigourney Weaver, Chelsea Handler, Eva Mendes, Jane Fonda, Kate Beckinsale, Sheryl Crow, Courteney Cox, Angie Harmon, Kat Dennings, Kerry Washington and Jennie Garth, to name a few.

Here's a tiny re-cap: Halle truly is out-of-this-world beautiful, and such a sweet woman; Nicole Kidman was gracious and elegant per usual, and Anne Hathaway (who wore a Marc Jacobs design straight off the runway) was beyond-her-years poised, polished and very articulate. Angie Harmon, always a gracious star to interview, was absolutely gorgeous in a gunmetal grey Dolce and Gabbana Grecian gown, that skimmed her tiny belly bump in the most endearingly adorable way. Perrey Reeves wore a frothy Monique Lhuiller cocktail dress and paired it with a not-yet-released Anya Hindmarch for Target clutch! She doesn't carry leather bags, and thought this would be the perfect time to give the highly-anticipated line a little PR boost. Good thinkin, girlfriend. ;)

Due to my above-mentioned precarious situation, I didn't have a free hand (or a free second) to snap any great candids of all of these dazzling dames, but here's a few!
