Hello Kitty Cuteness
Did you know Forever 21 just rolled out this adorable line of Hello Kitty gear? I've been a lifelong HK fan (discreetly), so I'm pretty pumped about this collection. As we know, not all HK paraphernalia is created the same, but from the looks of this line, they did a pretty fabulous job! I want to scoop up some tanks for spontaneous summer outings and sunny beach days ASAP.

Wanted to let you know Billion Dollar Babes is having an LNA sale right this very moment. Everyone I know in LA (myself included) swears by their super soft, lightweight Ts and tanks in a myriad of colors.

Leaving on a Jet Plane...
I'm jetting off to Taiwan tonight and finally focused long enough to pack for my week-long visit. I'm super excited for a little international getaway (I hope to be blogging on Taiwanese street style, so check back for updates!), but totally not looking forward to the muggy, rainy weather in store while I'm there.
That being said, all I've packed (trying to keep it light) are lots of comfy basics (Ts, tanks, leggings, tunics, cardigans) in my favorite wearable colors (black, white, grey.) Packs well, layers effortlessly and perfectly suits my (suddenly bland, Cali-cool) style of the moment (or rather, more of a life-long commitment.)
I stock up on basics from American Apparel, LNA, Velvet, Splendid, James Perse, Hard Tail and others, and you should, too.

My Summer Must-Have...
I've been doing a lot of traveling lately, and I wanted to plug one piece of clothing that I never leave home without during the hot summer months: American Apparel's ribbed U-neck Tank.
Don't get me wrong, I live in breezy sun dresses all season long, but I'd never make it through a summer without a few trusty American Apparel tanks packed in my bag, too. They come in a huge range of colors (I own a myriad of pink varieties, as well as the navy and evergreen shades), and are perfect for working out in, throwing on over a bathing suit, or mixing and matching with cute shorts or skirts. They're well made (I've had one for at least three years now, and it's still in great shape) and are cut in a flattering, longer length.
