Wildfox Couture is one of my fave casual luxe brands here in Cali. Some of their tees and sweats are a little too punk rocker for me, but some (like this one) absolutely meet the mark for a lipstick-lovin' fashionista like myself.

Two New Lipsticks I Love...

A good lipstick is hard to come by, so when I find one (or two) that meets the mark in color, wearability and performance, I've gotta spread the word! Here are my two latest discoveries:

I snapped up Buxom's Big & Healthy Lipstick from Sephora yesterday and am so glad I did. It defines, fills and plumps lips beautifully and the color selection, though minimal, is universally appealing. My new purse staple!



I was pleasantly surprised to find a sample of Maybelline's new Color Sensational lipcolor in my mailbox today (thank you, PR!) and immediately swiped it on. Gorgeous color (a head-turning red called 'Are you Red-dy?') and fantastic wearability.



Pucker up!

Isn't She Lovely?

This may be the strongest look I've seen on Drew Barrymore in quite come time. The actress turned heads in a bold black and white shift dress accessorized with flirty red peep-toe pumps while promoting her new film Grey Gardens.



Bonus points for her hair and makeup team, too! Love the braids, cat eyeliner and garnet red lipstick. Gorgeous!

Pink Ladies

Bright pink lipstick isn't for everyone--but in my book, it's a surefire fix to brighten the complexion and prettify your pucker. Take your cue from these sassy ladies who love them some lipstick:








To swipe on a girly shade of your own, might I recommend Shu Uemura's Rouge Unlimited lipstick.


The texture is perfection (just matte enough, so it's not sliding all over your mouth, but still perfectly glossed with high impact color)--shades to try? Vivid Magenta, Sparkling Cream Fuschia or Medium Rose.
