Meow! Hello Kitty for Forever 21

How adorable are these photos of Kendall and Kylie Jenner? The sisters smized for the cameras while modeling the new Hello Kitty for Forever21 collection! Leopard print, short shorts and cozy sweaters featuring our favorite feline…can you handles the cuteness?

Hello Kitty Cuteness

Did you know Forever 21 just rolled out this adorable line of Hello Kitty gear? I've been a lifelong HK fan (discreetly), so I'm pretty pumped about this collection. As we know, not all HK paraphernalia is created the same, but from the looks of this line, they did a pretty fabulous job! I want to scoop up some tanks for spontaneous summer outings and sunny beach days ASAP.

Drama Queen.

Post-edit:

For a similar look of the cheap, might I suggest this color block dress from Forever21:

(I know, I know. Not as cute, but Miu Miu will cost you a pretty penny.)

Cheap Thrills

One of the hottest new trends for falls is the ornate 'bib' necklace. These chunky, bold statement pieces instantly dress up any outfit in one fell swoop. My favorite way to wear one is to keep the length a little bit on the longer side, and pair effortlessly with a simple T-shirt, tank or blouse for an unexpected touch of glam. Keep everything else simple and all eyes will be on you!

I recently picked up a super affordable variation of the style at Forever 21 for less than $9.

Forever 21 Takes Over

You probably noticed that Mervyn's officially shuttered a few months ago, but did you know that Forever 21 has seized most of those storefronts and will be moving in this spring? I witnessed one of the first openings this past weekend in Lakewood, CA (random, I know) and let me tell you--it's revolutionary. The retailer has clearly been triumphing during the recession (cheap, fast and fashionable...what's not to like?), and they're making their presence known now.

A Mervyn's-sized space might seem overwhelming for most mall retailers, but if anyone can fill it, it's F21. There was so much merchandise for both guys and girls, it was hard to keep track what sections you had already tackled.

Other bonuses? Way more fitting room options, more organized trend categories, shorter lines for everything and 40 times the selection you'd find in your local mall (where it's more of a hit-or-miss scramble against plenty of other trendy fashionista shoppers.) What's more? F21 isn't ignoring any demographic. They're expanding to a plus-size line this spring called Faith 21 due in May, swimwear, kids and more. Walking around the shopping mecca, I observed shoppers of all ages, shapes and sizes happily sorting through the racks of affordable fare.

The future of retail? Forever 21 seems to think so.

Look for Less

I had a little Look for Less fun over the holiday weekend, dressing up my sister in an outfit inspired by Miss Nicole Richie.

(Yes, this is what I do for fun!)

Here's Nicole's look:

One quick trip to Forever 21, and here's what I came up with:

Motorcycle Jacket $34.80
Cream Dress $23.80
Global-Inspired Clutch $23.80
Peep-Toe Pumps $24.80

Not bad, right?

Meow!

Just in case you're looking to unleash your inner wild child, take your cue from Hayden Panettiere. She rocked this sexxed-up cheetah print cocktail dress by Lloyd Klein at the recent Trump Tower Dubai Party in Bel Air. (Smartly accessorized with Erica Courtney jewlery and Christian Louboutin shoes! )

For the same look without the designer price tag, check out this version from Guess at $89.

Or, for a slightly classier silhouette (which I would personally suggest if you're gonna wear any sort of animal print), I'm kinda loving this number from Forever 21 for just $22.80!
