On My Radar

There's some fresh new talent on my radar and I just had to spread the word. New York-based lawyer-turned-jewelry designer Alexandra Moosally has not only delicate, feminine (not to mention subtly sparkly) jewelry, but also quirky cute trinkets like hearts, cherries, apples and many, many more--mostly in rose gold and pave diamonds (my two faves.) As a vegetarian, I'm a fan of the carrot necklace below.

Kourtney Kardashian can't get enough of Charlotte Lu's subtly glam diamond star necklace and I can see why. It's discreet yet special and perfect with every outfit. I've always been into barely there jewelry, so I am seriously considering snagging the rose gold version for myself, as well.

Celebrity Style: Demi Moore

Looking younger than ever, Demi Moore stole the show at the Costume Designers Guild Awards on Tuesday night (trust me, I was there...and having the most amazing time!) in this radiant blue gown. Her fuss-free side braid took years off; and presenting on stage with her man, Ashton, undoubtedly kept the actress grinning from ear to ear. And P.S., their chemistry was ricocheting off stage and into the crowd!

I have to give her props, though.



Would you believe Moore mixed $360,000 worth of stunning Cartier jewels with a modest delicate little 14k yellow gold and diamond necklace from Dana Rebecca Designs which retails for a mere $275? Oh, but she did. Phenomenal!

Celebrity Style: Kourtney Kardashian

The petite reality star stepped out for her David Letterman appearance last night wearing a twisted chain necklace by designer Jill Golden.

You Can Take the Girl Out of Texas...

...but you can't take the Texas out of the girl! My Southern roots got a little affirmation tonight as I picked up this sweet little state pride pendant necklace from Maya Brenner.



The designer was holding a trunk show at the fabulous Stark Waxing Studio tonight, and had plenty of her delicate designs up for grabs at a discount. I was tempted by the bi-coastal design (below) which featured the state of California and an apple to represent NYC, but I felt like it would be just plain wrong to neglect my home state, so I'll save that purchase for a later date.



Plus, Jessica Simpson and Eva Longoria have been spotted all over town wearing the Texas design, so I know I'm in good company.

When Doves Cry

Check out this sweet little dove pendant necklace by Paloma at Tiffany & Co.. It's simple and delicate and, quite suitably, innocently uplifting.

Fergie's Foxy Style

Fergie was spotted in Hollywood this weekend wearing a chic signature Catherine Malandrino link necklace with long silver chains from the Spring/Summer 2009 collection.





The necklace is currently available at the Catherine Malandrino Maison.
