When Doves Cry

Check out this sweet little dove pendant necklace by Paloma at Tiffany & Co.. It's simple and delicate and, quite suitably, innocently uplifting.

Put a Ring On It

When it comes to engagement rings, it really doesn't get more iconic (or lust-worthy) than Tiffany & Co. When I was invited to stop into the Beverly Hills store to preview their new engagement ring collection, I happily obliged.

The Bezet Collection offers a deviation from traditional classic engagement rings: modern, clean and simple. The eye-catching cuts (princess, round, pear and heart) are flushed flat to further show off the clean design.

Maybe not my personal style at all, but for the right girl, this collection definitely stands out from the rest.

Everyday Sparkle

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I recently lost all of my favorite pieces of jewelry en route to New York in May. I'm not sure how it happened...I had carefully packed my beloved earrings, necklaces and bracelets (including the recently purchased "love" charm bracelet) into a jewelry roll and tucked it away into my carry-on. Or so I thought.

When I got to the city, it was nowhere to be found and I was tragically ill-accessorized for the entire duration of the trip. I was sure I must have mistakenly left it back in California, but when I got back, I couldn't locate my gems anywhere. I never lose things, and searched my house relentlessly for the stash of jewelry. I finally gave up my mad hunt and am now faintly looking for pretty pieces that could possibly replace my faves from before.

Not an easy task. I'm quite particular about my pieces (although everything that catches my eye tends to be dainty, gold and sparkly in some way or another), so I'm taking my time with this process.

One piece that I've had my eye on for over a year, though, is Elsa Peretti's Diamonds by the Yard pendant from Tiffany & Co.

It's simple, dainty and glamorous--the perfect everyday necklace.
Not a bad starter piece, right? ;)
