Celebs in Sundresses

Summer is my favorite season, primarily because it allows me the liberty of wearing sundresses every single day, day or night. Floral prints are an obvious choice, and girly, flirty frocks are always at the top of my list. Celebs like Minka Kelly, Taylor Swift and a handful of the Victoria's Secret Angels have been right on trend, wearing sweet dresses by Heartloom lately.

A Bombshell Summer

In case you haven't been bombarded by the major advertising campaign already, Victoria's Secret is urging you to have a Bombshell Summer. Meaning, their sexy new collection features bras and bikinis that boost your cup size by two sizes--whew! While I'm not quite the right gal for that motive, I'm sure there are plenty of other ladies out there who are.

Case in point, the dozens of savvy online bloggers who turned out to the SkyBar this week for a fabulous, feminine afternoon of pampering (hand massages, manicures and makeup touch-ups) and meet-and-greet opps with Miranda Kerr. Hard to believe the VS Angel had a baby a few months ago--she looked positively flawless and was friendlier than ever too!

Victoria's Secret Luncheon with the Angels!

It's not every day that you get to sit across from Victoria's Secret Angels at a ladies luncheon, so when I was invited to L.A.'s latest hot spot, Fig & Olive, for an afternoon of just that, I happily obliged. With summer and swimwear on the brain, the weather cooperated a little too well that day--it was a balmy 80-something degrees, and sitting out in the new courtyard with a spacious skylight (read: enormous windows overhead allowing the blistering sun to beam straight on us for hours)--almost spoiling the fun. But when Victoria's Secret is in the house, how can one complain?

Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel graced our group (an intimate herd of editors and bloggers) with their glamazon presence and shared their current obsessions in swimwear: animal prints, embellishments and the 'stringkini'! The girls were all very sweet, obviously drop dead GORGEOUS and experts in everything swimwear.

Armed with new bikini buying knowledge, I can't wait to pick out a new suit or two online! Check out my pics from the event:

Here in L.A., we've been enjoying sunny temps (think: 80 degrees!) in the middle of January, so it's only natural to hit the beach. Lauren Conrad did just that with boyfriend Kyle Howard, and looked laid-back and lovely in a white gauze v-neck cover-up dress.
