In Love.

Spent my Sunday at Neiman Marcus and fell in love. The Chanel 'Chain Me' shopping tote is exactly what I need in my life. It's functional, roomy, classy and perfect for everyday. I can't stop thinking about it, and am seriously considering it as an early birthday present to myself. The collection is flying off shelves, so I better move fast. But seriously, what's not to love?

Below are a few pensive pics of me pondering the designer purchase outside of Neiman's that my sis snapped to poke fun of me with...and why yes, that is a Chanel bag (from several seasons ago!) that I'm carrying. See? Chanel is always a wise investment.

Shoes Worth Mentioning...

Don't mind if I do...

Thank you Neiman Marcus for never letting me down when it comes to stumbling upon new fabulous luxuries to daydream about.

Obsession of the Day

Leopard is huge for fall, and I've always got a select few (classy, of course) mainstays of the iconic print in my closet. I wouldn't mind adding this sassy, fierce little guy to my collection:

Adventures of Alice + Olivia Footwear

Designer Stacy Bendet of fashionable fame Alice + Olivia has been trying her hand at footwear, and the reviews are mixed. Right now she has a revolving collection at Payless (that still ring in at about $35-40/pair) that are pretty fashion-forward for the cheapie crowd; and come May, she's even rolling out a sequined line from Keds.

I saw samples of the A+O sparklers on display last night at a gifting lounge last night (more on that later!), and plenty of girls were going crazy for them. When I talked shop, though, with PR, I found out the shoes will be debuting at Neiman Marcus first, and at about $90 a pair. For Keds. Hmmm seriously, Stacy?

Swooning for Wu

Designer-of-the-moment Jason Wu touched down in L.A. last week just to make a special appearance in Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills, drawing Diane Kruger and other notable fashionistas to celebrate his crave-worthy designs. Take a peek:

Dress Obsessed.

I am in L-O-V-E with this little ruffle trim dress from none other than the exquisite Alice & Olivia. Saw it in person today in Neiman Marcus and just about died in utter enthusiasm for the adorableness of this dress.

And while we're at it, Net-a-Porter has this Alice & Olivia number on sale for $269.50.

My birthday's next week, just in case anyone's at a loss for a gift idea. ;)

Little Bow Peep

I know, I know. I have an unhealthy obsession with bows.

But look! How cute are these?

MJ Does It Again

Spotted: the latest, not-yet-released limited-edition Marc Jacobs Handbag dangling from the wrist of my little sister's friend.

MJ came out with identical versions of this bag in bright punchy colors this past season (with a glittering frog ornamental clasp as seen here), but the fall version features a deep olive mesh material topped off with a subtly gothic lace-and-satin top compartment.

I spied the bag immediately when I saw her and inquired about its whereabouts. She snapped it up at Neiman Marcus (being retail BFFs with the handbag clerk has its benefits) and has been toting it around town ever since. Other remarks? She claims that it's slightly heavy (I checked it out, and even when completely emptied out, the bag is quite weight-y.) Ugh.

Somebody's ahead of the game.

After today's impromptu shopping spree on Roberston and at the Beverly Center, I think I'll just admire this one from afar.

Or, maybe I'll sweet talk my way into borrowing rights after this post? ;)

Currently Obsessed With...

Christian Louboutin Patent Chain Tote

Pardon the sloppy candid photo, but please focus on the irresistible fabulousity of this ridiculously hot Christian Louboutin bright pink patent leather tote! I was shopping in Neiman's with my equally stylish little sister over the weekend and saying aloud how I really craved a colorful handbag (I already have a sizable collection of wear-with-anything black bags), and we stopped dead in our tracks when we saw this fierce handbag wonder gleaming back at us from the case.

The size is absolutely unique--not TOO big, not TOO small, and features pockets inside for the organizational queen that I am. Can you see the little high heels charms dangling off the front? To die for, right? And the double chain straps (which, sadly, you can't see in this pic) are actually a longer length than most, and totally chic--again, another standout feature that you don't see everyday.

As if that weren't convincing enough, my current wallet is one I picked up a few weeks ago at the House of Petro Zillia by Kotur, and it is made of bright pink, gold and ivory vintage brocade fabric commissioned from fashion houses in the 1970s, accented with a brilliant gold disco ball bauble encrusted with rhinestones as the zipper. Needless to say, this wallet is gorgeous ('the wallet of my lifetime', I deemed it) and it would look SO luxe in this Louboutin. Handbag heaven? I think so.

Clearly, I was immediately obsessed with this bag, and haven't stopped thinking about it since. At roughly $1,800, though, I'm going to have think long and hard about this one...
