COMPLETELY OBSESSED.

I perused the recently-opened Louis Vuitton boutique today in Vegas (three stories tall, FYI), and immediately snagged a salesgirl to help me track down my most recent obsession: The Louis Vuitton Paris Speedy Cube. It's limited edition, of course, and perfect in every way with its embossed sturdy leather finish and iconic shape. It's refreshingly trendy and chic, yet classic without losing an ounce of LV luxury.

Swooooon. $2,910 at select Louis Vuitton boutiques.

Birkin Bags, Anyone?

It really doesn't get any more indulgent than highly-covetable Hermes Birkin bags in the designer handbag world.

Not only are they impossible to obtain (try a three year wait list), but they're also fantastically gorgeous yet classic, exotic, oh, and well, pretty darn pricey, too.

Victoria Beckham has an insane and enviable collection of Birkins, and could seriously be the official Hermes poster child these days, with the amount of exposure she's given the luxury brand.

Wanna be like Posh?

Contact me! Seriously.
I am working with this unbelievable contact now, and I actually have access to a fabulous amount of beautiful, 100% authenticated Birkins and Chanel bags (runway, limited editions, etc.) and would love, love, love to put any potential buyers in touch with him!

Here are a few images to whet the appetite:

Smooches for Smythson!

I was roaming down Rodeo Drive today, helping my former style editor make some returns from a recent shoot. It was just like old times when we worked together in New York, only we were now wearing sunglasses, sandals and had a car (in contrast to hauling heavy props around in the snow/sleet/rain and lugging everything onto subways in the city.)

We oogled the luxe items at Smythson and vowed that one day, when we were uber-affluent, we'd each own a sizable Smythson collection of our own.

For now, though, I only have one item to my name: an iconic fuschia leather notebook, imprinted with "FASHIONISTA" on the front--a truly fabulous gift from my other former style editor, Andie. (I know, I'm a lucky girl. And I have had worked with some really incredible women--with impeccable taste.)

The notebook is so pretty that I have yet to write in it, and I'm thinking I just might keep it that way.

While we're at it, I should mention that everything in Smythson is drop-dead gorgeous, in a very understated elegant English way. And naturally, everything is also priced quite outrageously. If money were no object, I'd snap up these fabulous investment items in a heartbeat.

Travel Wallet, $805

Passport Cover with Slide Closure $280

Cupcake Correspondence Cards, $90

Nancy Bag, $1575

The Holy Bible, $280

Maze Handbag, $1390

Deluxe Jewelry Box, $3435

Currently Obsessed with...

Rene Caovilla Shoes

Move over, Manolo. Hit the road, Mr. Choo. My latest footwear love affair is with Rene Caovilla.

Stunningly gorgeous heels (think: crystal-encrusted heels, luxe flower embellishments and more) that are so Carrie Bradshaw-worthy, it's not even funny.

Seriously, do stilettos get more exquisite?
To. Die. For. (with a price tag to match.) Sigh...

Currently Obsessed With...

Christian Louboutin Patent Chain Tote

Pardon the sloppy candid photo, but please focus on the irresistible fabulousity of this ridiculously hot Christian Louboutin bright pink patent leather tote! I was shopping in Neiman's with my equally stylish little sister over the weekend and saying aloud how I really craved a colorful handbag (I already have a sizable collection of wear-with-anything black bags), and we stopped dead in our tracks when we saw this fierce handbag wonder gleaming back at us from the case.

The size is absolutely unique--not TOO big, not TOO small, and features pockets inside for the organizational queen that I am. Can you see the little high heels charms dangling off the front? To die for, right? And the double chain straps (which, sadly, you can't see in this pic) are actually a longer length than most, and totally chic--again, another standout feature that you don't see everyday.

As if that weren't convincing enough, my current wallet is one I picked up a few weeks ago at the House of Petro Zillia by Kotur, and it is made of bright pink, gold and ivory vintage brocade fabric commissioned from fashion houses in the 1970s, accented with a brilliant gold disco ball bauble encrusted with rhinestones as the zipper. Needless to say, this wallet is gorgeous ('the wallet of my lifetime', I deemed it) and it would look SO luxe in this Louboutin. Handbag heaven? I think so.

Clearly, I was immediately obsessed with this bag, and haven't stopped thinking about it since. At roughly $1,800, though, I'm going to have think long and hard about this one...
