Jersey Girls

Rivaling L.A. designer phenomenon Rachel Pally's fashion empire is new ready-to-wear line Butter by Nadia, boasting ultra-fluid shapes (dresses and skirts, natch!) that can be worn in a dizzying array of varieties in sumptuous, gorgeous colors and prints.

Her signature wrap dress (a little high at $246) is probably a safe bet among all of her offerings, but I'd want to see it in person first (and feel fairly confident that I could actually assemble the thing) before committing. There's even an instructional video on the site for a step-by-step how-to that explains the endless possibilities.

Her spring/summer line is cute enough, but I spy a few more misses than hits...and again, Rachel Pally should feel a little miffed at the outright replication of some of her own coveted styles.

Though, this cheery striped dress is quite fetching for the Fourth of July, no?
