Gadget GLAM!

Everyone who knows me knows I am no stranger to adding a dose of personalized style to my favorite gadgets. I've had a number of crystallized cell phones, decorative face plates, and even my laptop is pearlescent pink.

So when I saw a new kiosk at the Fashion Show mall in Las Vegas last week called GMask, boasting fancy gadget-wrapping services, I stopped in my tracks. Apparently it started in the Philippines, and just debuted their first U.S. location in Vegas. Their trained wrap experts can transform anything (cell phone, camera, laptop, keys, camcorders, etc.) with a super-cute customized wrap of your choice. They have about 300 designs and are water, dust and scratch-resistant. And naturally, they also do custom Swarovski crystal designs.

Intrigued, I quickly offered up my digital camera and had it wrapped in glitter leopard print (see below); and my Blackberry for a little crystallized action.

Given my papparazzi-like tendencies, my camera takes a beating on a daily basis and has the ugly scratches to prove it. Thanks to GMask, now it's chic and fabulous--just as it should be.
