Beauty Junkie

I'm admittedly an eyeliner addict, but I pretty much stick to the same formula (Stila, Smashbox, Bobbi Brown or MAC gel eyeliners, LORAC liquid pens) that have proven reliable no matter the circumstance.

NARS just launched a killer product called Larger then Life eyeliner, and I have to say I'm hooked. The Via Veneto (black) color is smooth, budge-proof and dramatic--just the way I like it.

Plenty of pretty colors for all of your creative beauties out there!
$23 at Sephora.

A Hint of Fall

I'm still very much in a summer state of mind, but when I scored the newest shade of NARS nail polish named Tokaido Express, I fell just a little bit for the richness that fall brings to the fashion and beauty scene.

This deep plum polish is punctuated with subtle glints of gold, that will make your mani so much fancier than before.

$16 at NARScosmetics.com.

Fall Beauty

It finally feels like fall here in L.A., so I picked up a few pretty pieces at Sephora yesterday to add some oomph to my fall beauty look.

NARS eyeshadow duo in Isolde (gorgeous, shimmery bronze shades that really make your eyes pop!) $32

Stila Long Wear Lip Color in Flushed $18 (the prettiest pink imaginable on tan skin; ultra-moisturizing and really lasts!)

NARS Lipgloss Duo in Giza/Boogie Nights $28 (a Sephora exclusive! metallic raspberry and a peachy nude)

Wash On, Wash Off

What's your skin type? Have to admit, I've always had fairly sensitive skin on the dryer side, but lately (the last 3-5 years or so), as I've gotten older, my skin has calmed down considerably and has really learned to behave itself. Either that, or I've just perfected my skin care regimen and really know how to steer my skin in the right direction.

One thing's for sure, though, when I find a good product that works, I stick to it, no matter how many other contenders crawl out of the medicine cabinet calling my name.

Needless to say, it's kind of a big deal when I actually stick to one product for an extended amount of time and use it til the very last drop. It's an even bigger deal when I recommend this product to different people--with different skin types.

Such is the case with Nars Softening Milk Cleanser. It's seriously great for all skin types and lives up to its name. It's mild, refreshing, pure and as gentle as can be.

And for the $36 price tag, I should also mention that it lasts for a long time (6 months? maybe more?) even with daily use.
