A Night Out with Hipcooks LA and The Crossings Sauvignon Blanc

Over the last decade as a blogger, influencer and editor, I have been fortunate enough to attend a LOT of really fun and inspiring events over the years, yet there are always a few special ones that really outdo themselves and stand out from the rest. Exactly that happened this past week when I was honored to attend a really fun cooking class at Hipcooks LA in honor of National Sauvignon Blanc Day (today, May 6th) with The Crossings

I joined a handful of fab blogger babes (hosted by the lovely Romy Schorr) for a three-course cooking class and had an absolute BLAST sipping on some delish white wine and whipping up a fresh, healthy and zesty meal that paired beautifully with the Sauvignon Blanc. 

It was the ultimate girls dinner party, and I definitely learned some useful kitchen skills, too!

Our mouth-watering menu consisted of a new potato, green bean, basil and pine nut salad, scallop spiedini with anchovy, lemon, and rosemary sauce, lemon rice with roasted fennel and a raspberry walnut roll. SO DELISH!!! 

Each course was flavorful and healthy, and so perfectly flavored with fresh ingredients. I was truly impressed. As for the wine, it was light and crisp with citrus notes and fruity flavors.
