Hey, Sailor! for MAC Cosmetics

Last night I was invited to a memorable press event that was just way. too. much. FUN.

To launch the new Hey, Sailor! color collection from MAC Cosmetics, the brand invited a few of us editors to a tap dancing class (yes! really!) followed by an amazing dinner at Campanile on La Brea.

I was super stoked, and arrived at the dance studio eager to tap my little heart out (side note: I haven't actually tapped since I was about eight years old...but once a dancer, always a dancer!) I was delighted to find a whole ensemble for the event: a nautical striped Juicy Couture hoodie, white patent tap shoes and a monogrammed sailor hat. I MEAN.

Can we say cute?

I had a blast in class, dinner was ridiculously delicious and the makeup collection? So fabulous. I discuss it more thoroughly here on JustLuxe, but in short get ready for punchy summer colors for the eyes, a myriad of pretty bronzers for different skin tones, red lipsticks, vibrant pencils and more.
