Anyone who knows me, knows that I have a major, uncontrollable obsession with nude-colored shoes. It's become a long-running joke amongst my sisters and girlfriends, but I can't help it. They elongate the leg and make it look as though you aren't wearing shoes at all. For spring, I'm already searching for the perfect pair of dainty nude ballet flats to go with skinny jeans, shorts, skirts and dresses.
The new Astrid ballet flat from
Cole Haan seems to fit the bill. They're a bit pricey at $148, but considering they're cushioned with NIKE AIR technology, I'd expect these feminine flats to wow me with functionality and comfort, too.
