When Did French Connection Get So Fabulous?

I was tempted to buy this adorable little dress at Bloomingdale's in New York over the weekend (more on that later!), but they only had it in teal; and I'd prefer it in black.



It's by French Connection, and I adore the sweet tulip shape of the skirt (kind of obsessed with anything tulip-shaped right now), and the modern simplicity of it all.
