If you haven't checked out X Bar at the Hyatt Regency Plaza in Century City, I highly recommend you do so immediately! I stopped by on a Thursday night and now consider it a hidden gem in the world of happy hours in L.A.!
It was that delicious. They recently revamped their happy hour menu, and I would definitely suggest coming in hungry to enjoy a little bit of everything.
For starters, the bar is spacious and inviting with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options, big screen TVs and fire pits outside and a live D.J. to set the mood after a long day of work.
As for the food, I'm still salivating at the thought of their tasty libations (they even created a refreshing tropical non-alcoholic mocktail for me) and savory bites (sliders, sweet thai chili chicken morsels, ahi tuna and more.) Everything was well-portioned and incredibly delicious, and left us completely stuffed to the brim.
One tip? Save room for dessert! X Bar offers a mouth-watering selection of cronuts, fried apple pie 'pillows' and a mind-blowing S'mores pot de creme dessert that completely rocked my world.
So. good.
