My shower is completely cluttered with bottles featuring everything from drugstore to prestige brands, claiming to perfect my hair in every possible way.
And while a lot of them are pretty impressive and on heavy rotation, I can't say I've found anything that I'm overly in love with. I'm constantly mixing products up, looking for the miraculous remedy for my long locks, and constantly coming up short.
Granted, my hair is more high maintenance than you'd think. Sure, I have naturally straight Asian hair, but it's also really long, colored and damaged (thanks to my curling iron addiction) and very dry right now. Additionally, I also crave shine, major volume and serious manageability.
What's a gal to do? Try Joico K PAK products!
That's right. Today I attended a fancy beauty event at the SLS Hotel, where I got up close and personal with the Joico team and learned all about the incredible beauty brand (and their new tag line: Turn Heads), as well as the fascinating scientific layers of Joico's most powerful products. Best of all, I walked away with a "prescription" of products, totally tailored to my specific hair needs.
As soon as I got home I eagerly added two new bottles (K PAK damage care shampoo and conditioner) to my shower shelf, and detected an immediate difference in the first usage already. My hair felt softer and nourished, not stripped and dehydrated like with other products--even before conditioning! I followed up with the conditioner and absolutely loved the way the system improved my hair right away! Post-shower, my hair was way more manageable than before, which is a small winter miracle in itself.
Seriously, I'm amazed. I can't tell you how many products I have lined up that claim to enhance and condition my hair, but that simply don't live up to their pretty promises. To compensate, I've been slathering my hair with serums, argan oils, hydrating creams and more post-shower, which always turns into an endless saga of frustrated detangling.
I'm proud to report that there was none of that tonight!
In short, the K PAK line is definitely my latest obsession. Save yourself some anguish and treat yourself this winter to an awesome line of hair care that really works!
