I've been bracing myself for this coming week as it will be crazy busy packed with a photo shoot for L.A. Confidential/Daniela Corte leggings (I've been selected as one of L.A.'s top taste makers to kick off their campaign!), my birthday and Golden Globes, and I was seriously struggling to actually take some time out for me amidst the demands of my work schedule, events and planning.
And while I have yet to actually confirm my birthday party details (umm...a fabulous custom cake, however, is in the works!), I definitely knew my hair needed some help sooner rather than later. My aspirations were as follows: a trim, adding in layers in the front to frame my face, and hopefully, possibly, some extensions for fullness.
I mean, it is a big week after all!
What's a girl to do? See the amazing Tina Dizon of The Private Room, of course! Tina actually generously opened up her salon on a Sunday afternoon just for me (I'm telling you, my schedule is nuts, so it was really my only option; and I am so grateful for her flexibility) and worked her magic on my hair.

Not only did she clean up and even out my layers while keeping the length (so crucial!), but she also gave me a glam blowout and painstakingly added in the perfect amount of extensions to my hair for the desired (natural but voluminous) effect. In the end, everything came out perfectly, and I am so looking forward to this week's events now! Yay!

Long story short, go see Tina! Her Beverly Hills salon is beautiful and charming--just like her. She is a whiz at what she does, really loves her craft; but best of all, she is personable, sweet and so kind to her clients. In this town, that's really what matters most.
