Lash Extensions by Mikki Bey

Confession: I wear false lashes just about every day. Being Asian, I didn't get blessed with the best lashes. They're barely visible, super fine, straight and oh-so short. Therefore, falsies give me a considerable boost for everyday and special occasions, too. I actually feel naked without them and firmly believe they complete my 'look.'

So when I had the opportunity to try out lash extensions by Mikki Bey, here in Los Angeles, I jumped at the chance. Gorgeous, glam lashes that last for weeks? Sounds like the perfect holiday gift to myself.

I headed to Mikki Bey's salon and explained what I wanted: glam, dramatic and fabulous. No natural look for me; if we're going to do this--let's do this.

She got to work and in about an hour (yes, that's it!) I had awesome fluttery gorge lashes. BTW, Mikki is super upbeat, personable and hilarious, so that hour flies by. It's more like catching up with a girlfriend with a beauty bonus in the end. Mikki has years of experience as a pro makeup artist but has been doing lashes full-time for the past year, and I can see why: she's got skills!
