Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation: TO. DIE. FOR.

Up until a few days ago, I was pretty ambivalent about foundation. I rotated a few trusty products (TooFaced Amazing Face, Bare Minerals, Dior, Giorgio Armani, etc.) in and out, depending on the weather, but luckily, I've been blessed with fairly low-maintenance skin, so almost any foundation will do.

The other night at my Bloomingdale's event, I was introduced to YSL's  new (much raved about) Touche Eclat Illuminating SPF 19 Foundation, and I am pretty sure it has changed my life. It's wonderfully radiant and has a soft, gel-like finish that feels pretty incredible on the skin.

By the time I got home that night, I couldn't stop staring at my skin. It looked fresh and glowing--I was amazed. I use a hydrating serum before as a primer (insider secret!) and smooth on the foundation with fingers.

(Pardon my sleepy nephew in my arms, but this photo was snapped this weekend when I was road testing the foundation. I think Touche Eclat is well worth the money--I am literally glowing!)

Needless to say, I've worn it every day since, and even got a few friends to buy a $55 bottle of their own because it's just that good.
