Emmys Scoop: The VIP Treatment

By now, you're probably up to your ears in Emmys coverage. You've seen the gorgeous gowns and the awesome award winners, heard the acceptance speeches and sized up the sparkling jewels and cool manicures, but one aspect that's rarely mentioned is what goes on behind-the-scenes. 

Prior to the main event on Sunday, celebrities and VIPs (press included, i.e. yours truly!) make the rounds about town getting pampered at various hotels for manicures (thank you, Essie for a glam treat at the Beverly Hills Hotel) and even private estates (yes, I spent an afternoon lounging at Adrienne Maloof's home for hair/makeup/lash services)--to kick things off.

On the day of the main event, plenty of stars stopped into The Presenters Gift Lounge Backstage at Nokia Theater to soak up some swag from the super-generous sponsors (Emergen-C®, Bertolli® Sauces and Frozen Meals, Zerona (Body-Sculpting Treatments), New Balance (Minimus 1010's), TiVo® (Premiere 4 DVR), New Era Cap Co., Black & Decker (PLATINUM Hand Vacs), CND (Shellac™ Manicures), Kipling, Ultimate Ears by Logitech, Aquaswiss Watches, Jill Reno Collection, Crunch and more!) on hand.
