This was probably the first year ever that I was apart from my mom on the holiday (she's cruising Latin America right now and having the time of her life!), so I stayed in town and took part in a few fun pampering events for celebrities and VIPs.
Joico and Voli Vodka hosted the 4th annual 'On the Go' beauty event at the Thompson Hotel rooftop pool, where ladies were treated to manicures, hair touch-ups (Hunger Games colorist Cherry Petenbrink was a delight!), makeup applications and more. I also made a trinket bracelet thanks to the talents of Emily Rabinowitz of Blessed Charm with dainty birthstones representing my mom, brother and me as a sweet souvenir.
