Just FYI, The Miss USA pageant is right around the corner, and the contestants are already in Las Vegas, ramping up for the festivities. I have a number of beauty queen friends, and even went to the pageant last year to cheer on Miss Arizona, Brittany Dawn Brannon, who took home the 'Most Photogenic' title and placed in the Top 15.
This year, Chinese Laundry, the official footwear sponsor of the 61st Annual Miss USA and Miss Universe, staged a fun charitable event that had the girls decked out in colorful wedges, racing across the strip for a little friendly athletic competition. Actress Dania Ramirez hosted the event, and Miss Missouri, Katie Kearney, won the prize: $2,000 donated to the charity of her choice. See photos below:
