New Month, New Energy!

Hard to believe it's already February, but I eagerly embrace this month for a number of reasons. Fashion Week is just around the corner, and nothing thrills me more than running amuck in the Big Apple (full well knowing that I get to return home to sunny L.A. just as soon as the cold weather, public transport and chaotic craze starts to seep in), surround myself in fashion frenzy, see old friends, meet new ones and bask in the beauty that is the fabulous fashion industry.

Moreover, my favorite holiday of all time, Valentine's Day, reminds me that if the world were filled with flowers, pinks and reds, love letters, chocolates, warm and fuzzy feelings, and kind gestures everyday then the world, in fact, would be a much sweeter place to live in. I'll be celebrating a friend's wedding this month, as well, and you guys know how I love weddings. Not to mention that it's awards season, and I will be reporting from the Oscars red carpet this year (thank you, JCPenney!)

And finally, I'm itching to travel, somewhere exotic, somewhere far away and European, and most certainly, charming as all get out. Hoping to put something in the books soon. And might I add that on top of it all, I've been scrapping pieces of a novel together over the last several years, and I'm quite certain my cosmic energy is telling me (okay, screaming at me) to wrap it up already! And that's just scratching the surface of what the next few weeks hold, darlings. Here's to new creative energy, new inspiration and exciting new developments on all fronts! Love to you all.
