Happy Thanksgiving!

It's not every day that I have time to sit and reflect on all that I am appreciative of in my life--and goodness knows, I have a lot to count my blessings for! Amidst the fashion frenzy of my day to day, I am supported and strengthened by truly solid friends (old and new, who have seen me through everything) and amazing family (three sisters, one older brother, one younger brother, one stepbrother, a sister-in-law with a baby on the way, parents, cousins, aunts, uncles, you know who you are.) There's no way I'd be able to get through my harried life without them, and for that, I am most thankful.

I also know that I have been given incredible opportunities (both professionally and personally) and am amazed on a daily basis of the exciting new surprises that present themselves--usually unbeknownst to me. I joke that my life is best described as a wild roller coaster ride--and quite frankly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you also to all of my work contacts--near and far--the publicists, designers, reporters, editors, readers, photographers and more; the truly talented, talented, talented hard-working people that make the fashion and beauty world so invigorating and fascinating to work in. No, we're not solving world issues or saving lives, but in our own way, we are making the world a more beautiful, inspiring and empowering place to live in.

This Thanksgiving, I am working steadfastly, juggling all that I juggle, making time for family, fellowship (okay, and food...a lot of food)--and also earnestly looking towards the future to see what else is in store for me. (There's always something!)

In closing, a few (okay, more than a few) personal snapshots of the last few months--for all the love and laughter, friends and fun-- I cherish deeply.
