Lucky Brand had invited select bloggers to create innovative items out of Lucky’s Super Stretch or Super Soft jeans, with the chance to win an interview with Gunn and a year’s supply of Lucky Brand jeans. I crafted a cool denim circle scarf out of a pair of jeans and implemented every single item in the craft kit (per the contest rules) including patches, buttons, paint, colorful thread and more.
As you can probably guess, I have absolutely zero free time in my life, but I stayed up til the wee hours (literally, I have been averaging 3-4 hours of sleep a night) to crank this out because I love Tim Gunn and thought the contest was a super cool Project Runway-esque idea. Luckily (ha! no pun intended), it paid off!
