So I completely lucked out when I scored this fabulous Dolce & Gabbana eyeshadow quad backstage at the VOGUE/CFDA Fashion Fund show back in October, and now I feel the need to spread the word. The desert quad defines luxury--from the pristine gold packaging to the rich, sumptuous shadows packed inside. The texture is matte and perfect, the colors are rich and apply exactly as expected; and best of all, the shades are universally flattering for any skin tone, and work for day and night. Whew. Seriously,does it get any better?
I have countless palettes piled up on my make-up counter, but this is one impressive product I reach for time and time again. The $59 price tag is a tad steep, but I say it's worth it.
