Life Could Be Worse...

I almost feel bad that I complained all day about having to work on a Saturday night. Gucci and ELLE Magazine hosted a fabulous party honoring Rihanna tonight--and everything about the evening ended up being divine (minus the ultra-breezy weather, dipping well below typical summer night climates; but I know when it turns sweltering hot in a few weeks, I'll be kicking myself for ever complaining--so I won't.)

Tons (and I mean tons) of Hollywood-types crowded onto the sparkling newly-opened rooftop terrace of the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills (SO close to my apartment, I walked!) for cocktails, dinner and an after-party that lasted well into the night.

I chatted up many a starlet, including Rihanna, Sophia Bush (we shared an elevator), Dania Ramirez, Devon Aoki (my FAVE model of ALL TIME), Becki Newton, Nicky Hilton, Camilla Belle, Minka Kelly, Malin Ackerman and more. Of course, my favorite part of the night was when I caught up with ELLE's creative director, Joe Zee, and style director, the ever-so-chic Kate Lanphear.

Other notables include Ken Paves, Phillip Bloch, Jessica Paster, Cacee Cobb (with beau Donald Faison) and Zach Braff.











All in all, quite the bedazzling Beverly Hills experience!
